Queretaro: Grading and Free Application Seminar
Grandmaster SeminarGrading and Free Application Seminar Our grading system reflects your progress through the Wing Tzun and Escrima curricula. Each level builds on foundational techniques-from basic stance and hand positions in Wing Tzun, through sensitivity drills like Chi Sao, to intermediate forms and eventually advanced applications. Grading isn't just about memorizing movements. It's about demonstrating understanding: how you move, how you respond under pressure, how you apply principles rather than memorize sequences. We hold free application seminars regularly to give students hands-on experience with real problem-solving. These sessions focus on free-form practice-Chi Sao exchanges, Escrima flow drills, and scenario-based responses. You work with training partners of different levels and body types. You discover what works for you, not what looks good in a form. Grading itself happens when your Sifu or Guro believes you've earned it. No arbitrary timelines. No belt sales. You train, you develop competence, and when the time is right, you test. The seminar format keeps everyone sharp-graded students refresh their knowledge, candidates prepare for assessment, and newer students learn by observation and participation. These events also build community. Training partners become training friends. Different EBMAS locations send instructors and students, so you meet the broader network. Questions get answered. Doubts get cleared. You leave with clearer direction and renewed motivation.
