Become a student

Wing Tzun and Escrima are for everyone — no athletic background, special equipment or prior experience required. Becoming an EBMAS student is the most direct way to start, and this page walks you through every step.

1. Find a school near you

EBMAS schools are led by certified instructors all over the world. Open our school finder, search by city or postal code, and pick the location that is most convenient for you. Each school page lists training times, contact details and a map.

2. Book a free trial session

Every school welcomes newcomers to a no-obligation trial training. Use the "Trial training" form on the school's page to request an appointment — the instructor will get in touch to arrange your first lesson. Just bring comfortable clothing; everything else is explained on the mat.

3. Join and become a member

Once you decide to train regularly, your instructor signs you up as an EBMAS member. You receive your first student grade and a personal membership mark that is valid for one year. From then on you can follow your own progress — grades, exam history and curriculum — in your private online profile.

4. Grow at your own pace

The EBMAS curriculum guides you step by step from your first student grade towards technician and practitioner level. Your instructor records every section you learn, and your dashboard always shows what comes next and when your next exam is possible.

Already run a school of your own?

If you are already teaching martial arts, you don't have to start from scratch — you can bring your school into the EBMAS network as a partner. Read more on Become a partner.
