Find Your School, Book Your Class

The new EBMAS website makes it easier than ever to find a Wing Tzun or Escrima school near you and step on the mat.

You've been curious about Wing Tzun or Escrima for a while now. Maybe you watched a video, heard a friend talk about Chi Sao, or simply want to move, train, and meet good people. Whatever brought you here - finding your first class just got a whole lot simpler. Use our EBMAS school finder to locate a school near you in seconds.

A New Site Built Around You

The redesigned EBMAS website puts the school finder front and center. No digging through menus. No dead ends. Just a clean, fast way to see which schools are active near you - and who teaches there.

Every listed school shows the instructor's name, their rank, and the training schedule. You'll know straight away whether the sessions fit your week before you even pick up the phone.

How the School Finder Works

Finding your nearest Wing Tzun or Escrima school takes less than a minute. The process is designed to be frictionless - no account required, no forms to fill in before you see results. Here's exactly what happens when you open the school finder:

  • Enter your location - type your city, region, or postcode into the search bar. The finder accepts partial postcodes and town names equally well.
  • Browse the map - active EBMAS schools appear as pins. Each pin shows the school name and your approximate distance at a glance.
  • Open the school profile - click any pin or result card to see the instructor's name, rank, and weekly class schedule.
  • Make contact - a direct contact link on every profile lets you reach the Sifu or Guro straight away to ask questions or book a trial session.

Quick tip: If you're unsure which style to start with, the profile page notes whether a school offers Wing Tzun, Escrima, or both - so you can filter by what interests you most before reaching out.

What to Expect at Your First Class

Every EBMAS school follows the same structured curriculum. Beginners start with the fundamentals of Wing Tzun - footwork, basic strikes, and relaxed body mechanics. There's no pressure to spar on day one. You learn at your own pace.

If the school also runs Escrima alongside Wing Tzun, you'll likely see stick and knife drills happening on the same evening. It's fascinating to watch - and you'll get there sooner than you think. Learn more about the EBMAS curriculum.

No Experience Required

Wing Tzun is built on principles, not athleticism. You don't need a martial arts background, a particular fitness level, or any special gear to walk through the door. Comfortable training clothes and bare feet - or flat indoor shoes - are all you need for your first session.

The school finder lists whether a location offers beginner courses, regular open classes, or both. Gradings and seminars are announced separately as they're scheduled, so you'll always know what's coming up at your school.

Can't Find a School Close Enough?

EBMAS is growing. New schools open regularly across Europe and beyond. If there isn't one right around the corner yet, check back soon - or use the contact form to ask about the nearest active instructor in your area. Some instructors are also open to setting up new training groups when there's enough local interest.

The mat is waiting. Use the school finder now, pick your location, and send that first message to your future Sifu. The hardest part is always just showing up the first time - everything after that gets easier together.
